This letter is written by your soon-to-be mother. It's been one week now since you've come into the world and, there is no way possible that you could know how much joy you have brought into the world already.

If I could see things from your vantage point, I'm sure I'd have a lot to learn. Just a week ago, you were safe and warm in your mommy's tummy and now…

Well, there's a great big world out there and, as you can see in just one short week, there are people, right from day one, there to care for and love you to the truest extent of the meaning of care and love. You were blessed to be born in a household of caring humans, who take it upon themselves, unquestionably, to see that you have a great start in this world. And, oh, let's not forget your mommy. Tella the beautiful, the majestic...caring for your every concern.

I have great things planned for you Nika. Before you come to your permanent home, memorize the first rule… "There are no rules." Only gentle guidance and pursuasion. You can look forward to endless love and companionship. Andy, Marcie, Daniel and I await your arrival to your new home. You're gonna love it. We live in the county, with endless wilderness and a very quiet surrounding.

You will become an avid fisher-woman in your first year and will enjoy many trips in our boat, as well as the many camping trips, when Andy and I "head for the hills" to have some peace and quiet. Everyday you will be surrounded by love, along with appreciation for the joy that you will undoubtedly bring into our lives.
